Boy or Girl?
We find out Monday if we are having a boy or girl. I’m very excited and can’t wait to discover if my life will revolve around blue or pink décor for the next 20 weeks. Any guesses? I’ll let you know Monday!!!

Boobalicious
This is a post about boobs. No, it is not a pregnancy post about how my boobs are getting bigger like Gwyneth Paltrow's did when she was pregnant.
before baby:
after baby:
This is a post for all of my girlfriends, girl cousins, sisters, sister-in-laws, etc. to remind them to do their yearly check up. In August, I decided to meet with my OB and discuss the topic of pregnancy. I wanted to make sure I was healthy before getting pregnant. During my exam it was discovered I had a lump on my right breast. This Tuesday I had the lump removed and the results have come back negative. It was benign.
I'm sure most of us know someone who has a lump, had a lump, or we have a lump ourselves. Let me tell you the procedure to have it removed is pretty slick. I had localized an-aseptic, no stitches, didn't need pain medication, and went to work the next day. I have some bruising that will go away and have been a little sore in the area. I have steri-strips keeping the incision closed tightly that will come off in 7-10 days. In the end, I will have a small pencil line of a scar about 1 inch long.
Through all of the testing, X-rays, and doctor's appointments I have never been worried about this being cancerous. In truth, I had the lump for quite some time. However, with my mom being a breast cancer survivor (!!!) I thought it best to have it removed so the tissue would never have the chance to become cancerous.
So to my dear friends who I love tremendously, please make it your New Year's Resolution to make your yearly appointment today. Make a date with yourself to visit your doctor, get a pedicure, and drink a large fountain Diet Coke!
